Patches
This option works best where only a small area of the flooring is affected. Our engineers will select the most suitable species and grade of wood to deliver an outstanding finish.
Floorboard replacement
Again, where only a small amount of the flooring is damaged it probably won’t be necessary to completely replace the entire floor. In most cases only a few replacement floorboards will be all it needs to get your flooring looking good again.
Sanding
We use a variety of sanding tools depending on age, thickness and condition of your wood. A good sand can really breathe new life into your wood and prepare it for a lustrous new coating in the color of your choice. Areas with darker stains, paintwork and heavy wear and tear will obviously take longer to complete than something lighter and easier, but our engineers will give you a clear quote and indication of time prior to commencing the work.
Staining
A new stain can transform the look of your commercial flooring. We offer a wide selection of color choices. As to be expected, it’s always easier to re-stain a light area of wood than one that’s had coats of dark stains, paint and varnish. We’ll let you know from the outset how big the job is going to be and how much it will cost.
Coating/recoating
Particularly in areas of high traffic, your floor will need to be coated to protect it and keeping it in good condition. There are a number of options available from oil based chemicals to more environmentally friendly products- our team can advise you on the merits of each type and help you make an informed decision.
Large scale refinishing
Our team are used to working on large areas, refinishing floors in schools, sporting arenas and shopping malls. We will project manage the entire process, taking the time to do background checks on the state of the existing floor and subfloor then levelling it out if necessary prior to undertaking the refinishing work.
Crew assembly
For very large areas such as malls and sports halls it is necessary for an experienced crew to assemble the new floor. A team of four can usually fit up to 100 panels an hour, so we’ll be able to complete the job to an exceptional standard quickly and efficiently- meaning minimal disruption and downtime for your business.
