A well stained wooden floor is a thing of great beauty which adds a touch of elegance and style to any home or commercial building. With staining you get the chance to choose the color that you want. We offer a huge selection of wood stains, from traditional effects like mahogany, cherry and oak to bold colors for a modern, more adventurous look.
This may be the first time you have had the wood stained. If it is a brand new floor and you want to achieve a particular color then after installation we will simply apply the stain and then apply a protective coat over the top of the stain. Our team are experts when it comes to treating wooden floors and rather than trying to do it yourself it is always advisable to leave it to the professionals. You don’t want to invest in a brand new hardwood floor only to then make it look streaky or uneven by attempting to stain it yourself. You will be absolutely delighted with your newly stained floor – that we are confident of.
If you already have a wooden floor and you looking to have it re-stained, first we will need to assess the current condition of the floor. It may be necessary to remove any existing stain by sanding and using detergents. If you are going for a complete color change it will likely be necessary to completely remove any staining previously used and sand the wooden floor back to the bare wood. The flexibility of wooden flooring is great when it comes to completely changing the appearance – you could go from mahogany to oak if you require and if your original flooring is up to the job.
The first steps is to get a rough idea of what you are looking to achieve and then give us a call at which point we will arrange to come and visit your premises and assess what the best course of action will be. We can give you an idea of the various colors of stain that we can provide with samples of how the finished job will look. Once you have chosen your color we will then arrange a time with you to come and complete the job. If it is a commercial premises our team are able to work outside of business hours so that you don’t have to close your doors to customers.
